About this Programme

The Certificate in Visual Design is a entry level programme designed to introduce students to core principles in design and visual communication. It provides the skills, mindset, and exposure needed to prepare students for creative diploma-level studies and careers in the visual arts.

Students will explore essential topics such as drawing, typography, color theory, basic photography, digital tools, and multimedia applications. Through hands-on projects and creative exercises, students will begin developing portfolios while gaining confidence in design techniques and creative thinking.

This programme serves as a stepping stone toward diplomas in Graphic Design, 3D Animation, and Digital Creative Content.

Entry Requirement

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
    Minimum SPM with 1 credit (in any subject) and a pass in Bahasa Melayu as stated in program standard
    - OR -
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)
    A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 in a relevant field
    - OR -
  • Equivalent
    Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
    - AND -
    Pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the College as required
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
    Pass with minimum Grade B in any subject
  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
    Pass with Grade C in any subject
  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)
    Pass with Grade C in any subject
