About this Course

The Certificate in Visual Design is a foundational programme designed to introduce students to core principles in design and visual communication. It provides the skills, mindset, and exposure needed to prepare students for creative diploma-level studies and careers in the visual arts.

Students will explore essential topics such as drawing, typography, color theory, basic photography, digital tools, and multimedia applications. Through hands-on projects and creative exercises, students will begin developing portfolios while gaining confidence in design techniques and creative thinking.

This programme serves as a steppingstone toward diplomas in Graphic Design, 3D Animation, and Digital Creative Content.

Entry Requirement

Minimum SPM with 1 credit (in any subject) and a pass in Bahasa Melayu as stated in program standard

- OR -

A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 in a relevant field

- OR -

Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

- AND -

Pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
